Speedball at CPX

So yesterday I hot some speedball for the first time this season. It was a pretty good day, very cold but still pretty fun. CPX and LSD ran a great practice I really hope they do it again. I also plan on shooting the tournament they're running on the 11 of April, along with the first Chi-Town event the week after. Anyway, here's those pics you all came here for, they are a little delayed due to the fact I had a little trouble figuring out how to properly post-process them.

CPX Preview

So I finally dusted off the camera and shot some paintball yesterday. Overall, it was a great day. The games were very fun to shoot and watch and the those who played in them were kind and funny people. Also thanks to all the great staff at CPX for running the field so well and helping me out quite a bit. Anyways, here's some of the better pics I took yesterday, and there are a few more on my flickr. The rest will be uploaded to Paul's [from CPX] mobileme account.

First Shoot of the Season

So I guess its time to dust off the camera. I've been invited to shoot a private game at CPX this weekend, cant wait. For the very small amount of you who don't know; CPX is one of the craziest, awesomest and bestest fields in Chicago, if not the MW, if not the country, if not the world. I definitely recommend all of you check it out at least once this season. Either way, it should be pretty cool to finally shoot something, especially woods/scenario ball. I'm just hoping the weather holds up until then. Speaking of the weather outdoor paintball anyone?

Plans for 2010

So I figured I should lay out a plan for 2010, for those of you in the paintball world who actually care to know what I'm doing this year;
1: Website: as it says on nation, its coming eventually, I just see no use paying upkeep when I don't have too. As of now, the Azn sensation himself, Chris Loh, of Skwirmasomethingorother Media will have his own page or two on my site. From what I hear he has a sick new camera and plans on shooting the usual (paintball, skateboarding) along with a few new interesting ventures.
2. Clothing: I want to make some shirts, longsleeves, stuff in general. For all this stuff I'd definitely like a some kind of logo, so I might set up a small contest for that soon.
3. The actual photography part: I really cant wait to actually start shooting again, I plan on shooting the first CTS event on April 18th. Though I don't have anything planned other than that, I'm open to just about anything right now.
4. As far as national events, look for me at the NPPL and PSP Chicago events this summer.
5. I plan on branching out, I'm not sure in what, but paintball alone is boring, look out for other work I do over these next months.
6. I'm thinking about a facebook group, do people actually care about those, do people actually care about blogs anyway?

That's about it for now, don't expect much out of this blog for a few weeks at least, I guess I'll pretend that people actually care to read what I write and make a blog just to share my observations and stuff like that.
